What this list is

If you use the footer form, ProtoLab stores the email and optional name you type so I can send site updates for this bench. That is the only purpose.
ProtoLab list only
You join the private Listmonk list named protolab. It is not the book list and it is not the advisory list on shaneburrell.com. Those lists stay separate unless you opt in on that site.
Double opt-in
Nothing else is sent until you confirm the address. Check your email after you subscribe.
Listmonk and Postmark
The subscriber database is Listmonk, running on infrastructure I operate. Confirmations and list mail go out through Postmark. Cloudflare hosts this site and runs Turnstile on the form to stop bots. Cloudflare sees the challenge token, not a profile of you.
Unsubscribe, no sale
Every list message has an unsubscribe link. You can also write [email protected] and I will delete the contact. I do not sell this list.
What I do not collect
The form has a hidden honeypot field for bots. I do not mix ProtoLab addresses into book or advisory campaigns from this site. I do not sell, rent, or swap the list.
