   reg_mr pins buffers; obtain lkey/rkey for local/remote access.

   Create CQ + QP

   Completion queue and queue pair bound to the PD.

   QP → INIT / RTR / RTS

   Exchange path attributes; move both QPs to Ready to Send.

   Exchange rkey + addr

   Out-of-band handshake shares remote virtual address and rkey.

   Post RDMA WRITE

   One-sided WR: DMA local buffer into remote MR; no remote RECV.

   Poll CQ

   Initiator sees completion; remote CPU stays out of the data path.
